World Wide Racing Photos
Track Photographer
Freehold Raceway
World Wide Racing Photos was founded by John Pantalone in 1972 at Liberty
Bell Park in Pennsylvania and has been commission by harness and thoroughbred
tracks from coast to coast. The company takes and develops their own
pictures and also services outside accounts. Not only are John and his crew
responsible for the horseman's commemorative photographs and covering special
events at the race track, they also shoot for trade publications and assist
the Department of Agriculture with pictures for the New Jersey Sires Stakes,
state sponsored harness racing. World wide won the 1988 Nikon Photo Award
for special effects picture taken at Garden State Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. They
are one of the few track photography companies that process their own photos
in-house. Hence, they take pride in providing quick results. "If World Wide
Racing Photos had a motto," John says, "it would be to deliver an on time
quality picture." This motto reflects the horsemen's anticipation for a
promptly delivered, lifetime image of a treasured victory.
