OCEAN, NJ MAN WINS FREEHOLD HANDICAPPING CONTEST FREEHOLD, NJ – Lou Filoso, of Ocean, New Jersey defeated 60 fellow handicappers and won the Freehold Raceway Thoroughbred Handicapping Contest, which was held on Friday, May 4. Filoso finished with a bankroll of $ 610. to take the top prize of $ 4,575. The nearest challenger was Anthony Montedoro of Neptune City, NJ who accumulated a bankroll of $ 549.50. That was good enough for second place prize money of $ 2,287.50.
