Freehold Approved for 90 Day Race Meet in 2012

Freehold, NJ—- The New Jersey Racing Commission approved today the request of Freehold Raceway for a 90 day race meet in 2012. The winter/spring meet will begin March 1 and run until May 26. The summer/fall meet will start August 30 and conclude December 22. Racing will be conducted 3 days a week - Thursday to Saturday for both meets with special holiday racing on Labor Day. Post time will be 12:30pm.
Freehold’s current meet continues until December 17 with a Friday and Saturday live racing schedule.
