Live Racing Resumes Friday, August 24

Freehold Raceway’s 40-day summer/fall meet kicks off Friday, August 24 with an 11 race card. Racing at the half mile oval will be conducted Fridays and Saturdays.
Races for New Jersey sired horses are well represented on the summer/fall meet schedule. Renowned events such as the Charles I. Smith final ($40,000) and the Helen Smith final ($35,000) along with the two divisions of the Renaissance final ($50,000) are on the schedule. Also, the Standardbred Development Fund series features eight ($50,000) divisional finals and there will be three open divisions of the New Jersey Futurity as well as the Homegrown Pace ($40,000) held at Freehold during the fall.
On Opening Day, t-shirts will be given away with the purchase of a Freehold program, while supplies last.
Post time will be 12:30pm for the entire meet.
